Aesthetically attractive is also ethically correct isn’t only an expression, especially considering the environmental, social, and governance assessment criteria of a company (ESG). Values that today, distributors in the cosmetics world can’t do without. That is to say that up until recently, what was once considered nice to have has become a must have.

“The recent events linked to the climate crisis, global-warming, and the desire to leave behind a positive environmental footprint have been a moment of reflection” explains Manuela Bertuzzi, Managing Director.

Aspiring to a purpose-driven, virtuous distributor model, driven by an ethical and social commitment integrated with corporate goals is part of Bregaglio’s philosophy. As part of the supply chain and a co-player in tomorrow’s society, the company wants to give its own contribution to the process of ecological transition.

“We’re aware that in the coming years distributors who will be able to differentiate themselves will gain market shares and we don’t want to lose out on this business occasion and challenge, helping a planet that’s suffering” adds Manuela Bertuzzi.

A change of pace isn’t easy for distributors, but possible. We need to act on more than one front, starting from the choice of stakeholders.

“On our side of things, we propose limiting wastes and energy consumption, favouring partnerships with suppliers that off er options based on the circular economy and carbon-free ingredients. We will evaluate eco-friendly solutions with regards to logistics and the sorting of waste before recycling” concludes Bertuzzi.
